Shipra Bansal, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Osteopathic and Lifestyle Medicine at A.T. Still University - School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA). In this capacity she is leading the implementation of a fully integrated lifestyle medicine curriculum at the university. Prior to this, she was the Regional Director of Medical Education (RDME) for North Country Healthcare where she was responsible for running the 2nd year program at the Flagstaff satellite campus. She is also a family physician at North Country HealthCare, a federally qualified health center in Flagstaff, AZ. Dr. Bansal has been working with patients on whole-food plant-based eating patterns since 2014 and now conducts group visits in nutrition designed to help patients stabilize or reverse disease. Dr.Bansal focuses on making healthy lifestyles, particularly nutrition, accessible to underserved populations.
Dr. Bansal completed her training at Harbor-UCLA in 2008.
