Accreditation
The Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The AOMA designates this enduring activity for a maximum of .75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The AOMA designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation.

Karen Acevedo-Mogharbel, DO, Arizona Preferred Primary Care

Dr. Acevedo-Mogharbel graduated from Nova-Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her Internship and residency were completed at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center 2000-2003.

Dr. Acevedo-Mogharbel is board certified in family medicine. She has been a preceptor for Midwestern College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2017. She has her own practice that she started in 2004. She is a past president of the Arizona state society of the American College of Osteopathic Physicians.

She is Married, Mother of 4 accomplished children and Amma to 3 grandbabies. She enjoys outdoor bike riding, spin class, crocheting, adventure, mythical and sci-fi movies.

Dr. Acevedo-Mogharbel discloses she is on the Speakers' Bureau for Novo Nordisk.
