  • Classify harm reduction in the context of the opioid epidemic
  • Incorporate various harm reduction strategies and their evidence, including needle-syringe exchange programs and safe injection facilities
  • Express barriers to implementation of harm reduction programs

Patrice Zigrossi, MD Related Seminars and Products


Patrice Zigrossi an internal medicine physician from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She went to the University of Notre Dame where she majored in pre-medicine and French with a focus on francophone African literature. After university, Patrice went to Eastern Virginia Medical School and then returned to her hometown to complete her internal medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the global health track. Currently, she is a second-year fellow at the HEAL (Health Equity Action Leadership) Initiative based out of the University of San Francisco California and is working with Muso, an NGO in Mali, West Africa.
