Dr. Ambrosia is an interventional cardiologist who graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific after completing his undergraduate degree in engineering at Arizona State University. An Arizona resident since 1976, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix. Beginning practice in Mesa in 1998, he originally practiced at Mesa General Hospital and moved his practice to the Banner Heart Hospital when it opened in 2000. A founding member of his current group, CardioVascular Associates of Mesa, he specializes in interventional and structural heart procedures and was involved in the development of many of the interventional and structural heart procedures at Banner Heart Hospital.

Dr. Ambrosia currently serves as the President of the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA).
