Dr. Carsten R. Hamann, MD, PhD, is a board-certified dermatologist and director of clinical research at Saguaro Dermatology Associates in Phoenix, Arizona. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor of dermatology at the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine and core faculty at the HonorHealth Dermatology Residency Program in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Dr. Hamann holds a Medical Degree from Loma Linda University and a PhD. in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Copenhagen. With over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals, his research focuses on allergic contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and the advancement of dermatologic education. In addition to his clinical and research roles, Dr. Hamann is passionate about mentoring future physicians and improving patient care through innovative dermatologic practices.
