Erik Nelson, DO, FASA

Dr. Erik Nelson is a board-certified Fellow of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He attended Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was a Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Fraternity graduate. Dr. Nelson completed an anesthesiology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He currently practices at Honor Health John C Lincoln Hospital where he is the Chair of Anesthesiology. Dr. Nelson is also an adjunct clinical professor at Midwestern University where he created and teaches the elective course “Physician Finance and Wellness.”
He paid off his student loans 3 years after completing residency and became debt free just 3 years later. Dr. Nelson has been happily married to his wife Amy for over 20 years. They are the proud parents of 3 children: Gabe, Elisa, and Ian. Dr. Nelson enjoys traveling with his family, reading fantasy novels, singing in the Millennial Choir, and attempting to golf.
