Faraj Kargoli, MD, MPH, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist and structural heart disease specialist serving as Medical Director of the Structural Heart Disease Program at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. He also holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.

Dr. Kargoli earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. He completed his internal medicine residency and successive fellowships in advanced cardiac imaging, general cardiology, and interventional cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, followed by a fellowship in Structural Heart Disease and Complex Interventions at the University of Arizona–Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix.

He is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with additional certifications from the National Board of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Kargoli is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).

An active researcher, Dr. Kargoli has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications on transcatheter valve therapies and cardiovascular outcomes, and serves as a peer reviewer for multiple journals, including JACC Advances. His work has been recognized with awards such as Young Investigator of the Month from the International Society of Hypertension and the Leo M. Davidoff Society Award for outstanding clinical teaching.
