Jesse Shriki, DO

Dr. Jesse Shriki is a board-certified intensivist specializing in cardiac critical care. In practice since 2009, Dr. Shriki began his career in emergency medicine before pursuing a fellowship in surgical critical care at the renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center/University of Maryland Medical Center, where he focused on mechanical circulatory support and ECMO. Dr. Shriki is multiply boarded with certifications in Surgical Critical Care and Critical Care Echocardiography.

Since 2021, Dr. Shriki has been dedicated to managing complex cardiac surgical patients, serving as the director of both a tertiary care Cardiac Surgery ICU (CVICU) and a Cardiac ICU (CCU), with a focus on pre- and post-heart transplant care. Currently, Dr. Shriki is a cardiac intensivist at a busy cardiac center seeing over 100 heart transplants per year and over 200 ECMO patients per year.  Dr. Shriki, additionally, completed a Neurocritical Care fellowship, with a unique clinical interest at the intersection of cardiac and neurocritical care, addressing the complex overlap of cardiac surgery, brain injury, and critical care recovery.
