Dr. Cruz grew up in a large family, 9th of 10 children, lived in various places, but majority of my formative years in a rural small town in the Northern California high desert. She skipped around a few community colleges and eventually finished her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Western Governors University. She completely changed careers and completed my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. She completed her Family Medicine & OMT residency at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, associated with El Rio Community Health Center in Tucson, AZ.

She has been married to her husband for 19 years and they have 4 children, ages 17, 14, 11, and 7. She enjoy hobbies such as cooking, gardening, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with her family. She is involved in her church as much as possible since the COVID-19 pandemic has changed all group gatherings. She is currently a member of the US Army Reserve Medical Corps and is employed as a staff physician with Concentra, Phoenix, AZ. Most of her current work involves patients with work injuries and work assessments.
