Valerie Van Ravenswaay, DO

Dr. Valerie Van Ravenswaay was born in Ontario, Canada where she practiced as a Massage Therapist until she met her Husband Aaron Shaw who brought her to the United States. She completed her Masters in Public Health consortium or University of Toledo and Bowling Green University.
She went on to medical school at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine where she completed her Predoctoral Fellowship in OMM and then moved to College Station for her Family Medicine Residency at Texas A&M.
She moved to Flagstaff and initially practiced as a PCP with 1/3 of her practice in manipulation, and then transitioned to a hospitalist in 2019 where she continues to practice at Flagstaff Medical Center. She loves to spend her free time outdoors with her 3 children and wonderful husband of 15 years.
